Shanghai Major 2024: Europe A RMR Kicks Off
The Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Europe A RMR kicks off on November 17, 2024, in Shanghai, China. As an A-tier CS2 tournament, this event will feature 16 top European teams competing for a spot in the Major’s opening stage, which starts on November 30. The stakes are high, as only seven teams will move forward to the main event.

The tournament will follow a Swiss format, featuring best-of-one games for the initial matches. However, in elimination and advancement matches, the format will shift to best-of-three, offering teams a fairer shot at progressing. The Buchholz system will be used to rank teams based on their performance, starting from the third round.
