The Shanghai Masters is an annual tennis tournament for male professional players held in Shanghai, China. The tournament is part of the nine ATP Tour Masters 1000 events on the ATP Tour, and is the only one not played in Europe or North America.

Top 10 stars who will be featuring in the 13th edition of the Shanghai Masters are Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, Taylor Fritz and Casper Ruud. Zhang Zhizhen and Shang Juncheng will headline for China.
Djokovic, will make his first appearance in the city since 2019. The Serb who won the 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2018 titles in Shanghai is bidding to add to his record 40 ATP Masters 1000 victories. This makes him the most prolific champion in the tournament.
A new champion will be crowned at the 2024 Shanghai Masters as defending champion Hubert Hurkacz has pulled out of the tournament due to injury.
