India is going under the tremendous extent of COVID-19 2nd wave which has caused major problems in different parts of the administration overall. On 12th April, the government announced the opening of vaccination for the age group 18-44 from 1st May and on the same verge, stars and celebrities are getting themselves vaccinated and urging others to follow the same. Shikhar Dhawan too got his first jab of vaccination.

Shikhar Dhawan posted a picture on Instagram in which he was seen as getting vaccinated.

Shikhar Dhawan thanked all the Frontline workers for their dedicated efforts at times so excruciating like these and also urged the people eligible to get themselves vaccinated as soon as possible.

India’s vaccinating its citizen with two vaccines which are developed in India, Covishield and Covaxin. India started its systematic, phased vaccination process from 16th January 2021, in which the Frontline warriors were vaccinated. Eventually, it was opened up for people above the age of 45 and now 18-44 to falls under the vaccination category.
