The Board Cricket Control of India (BCCI) has announced team India’s Squad for the upcoming series against Ireland and England and for the Asian Games 2026 which will be played in Japan. BCCI took some bold moves and removed T20 World Cup winner Captain Suryakumar Yadav from the Captaincy and named Shreyas Iyer as the captain of the Indian team. Within hours after the announcement of the Indian team squad. The former Indian Skipper took special revenge in a style which showcased his ability. 

Both were playing a T20 league for the Mumbai and both played domestic cricket for the Mumbai and they faced off during a t20 league. By the end of the evening the newly appointed Indian Skipper Shreyas Iyer leading the SoBo Mumbai falcons seized the victory over Suryakumar Yadav Triumph knights MNE.

Iyer and Surya’s Knock 

While playing against the Shreyas Iyer team Suryakumar Yadav played beautifully and made 48 of 24 and he smashed 3 sixes and four boundaries. In return Shreyas Iyer played a valuable knock of 61 runs off 37 balls he also played five fours and five sixes and led his team single handedly to the victory. Both of them played a terrific knock but Iyer was way ahead of Surya’s inning and secured the win for his team.

Love and Respect 

Despite a big change in team there was not even a single percent of awkwardness between both of the cricketers. They both showed a gentleman’s gesture and hugged after the ending of the match. Before match they shake hand and after the announcement they share hug which shows love and respect towards each other as they both belong to Mumbai and also played together in domestic match
