The sensational batter provided a health update on June 25 through his social media, assuring cricket fans that he is on the road to recovery and is optimistic about getting back to cricket soon.
Suryakumar Yadav’s Surgery: Second Sports Hernia Procedure in Months
This marks the second sports hernia surgery for Suryakumar Yadav in less than a year. In his latest post, the cricketer mentioned:
“Underwent surgery for a sports hernia in the lower right abdomen. Grateful to share that after a smooth surgery, I’m already on the road to recovery. Can’t wait to be back.”
Before that, Yadav had undergone the same procedure in January 2024 and had also had an ankle surgery in December 2023, illustrating the strain of playing international-level cricket over the two years.
