Sylhet Strikers are a professional cricket franchise that plays its home games in Sylhet, Bangladesh. The league that the team plays in is called the Bangladesh Premier League. The franchise played its first game in the Bangladesh Premier League in 2012. The record of the Sylhet Strikers in the Bangladesh Premier League could be more impressive. They have never been relieved of their pressure. Despite being a league member since its inception in 2012, it did not compete in the 2016 season. However, the records have yet to be up to par. Only in 2013 did Sylhet achieve the feat of qualifying for the playoffs; ever since then, this team has failed to go past the group stage in the BPL.
They also finished last in the table during the previous season, which was the sixth position overall. Since the very first season, the brand has been known by a total of five different names. Sylhet Royals, Sylhet Super Stars, Sylhet Sixers, Sylhet Thunder, and Sylhet Sunrisers were the previous names for each of the franchises.

The team’s records can now be seen. Even so, the records still need to be brought up to date. The last time Sylhet made it to the playoffs was in 2013. Since then, they have yet to be able to get past the group stage in the BPL.

Sylhet Strikers’ Achievements:
- Sylhet Strikers‘ record-breaking score is the fourth highest in BPL annals. It happened in Chattogram in 2019 versus the Khulna Tigers. In 20 overs, Sylhet Strikers scored 232 runs for 5. Khulna, chasing the target, had a wicket fall to the first delivery they faced. They were bowled out for 152 runs after 18.3 overs, 80 runs shy of victory.
- In 2017, the Sylhet Strikers scored a season-high second-best total. It happened in Sylhet, during the sixth game of the competition, against the Rajshahi Kings. With Ross Whiteley’s 25 not out of 12 balls, he contributed 42 runs to Sylhet’s 205/6 total. Rajshahi Kings were defeated by a final score of 172/8.
- Another season high for the Sylhet Strikers was set in Sylhet in 2019. It was matching number 31 of the tournament, and Khulna Titans were the team they played. Between them, Sabbir Rahman and Mohammad Nawaz smashed 89 runs off of just 39 balls to push their team to 195/4. Khulna could not bat for very long because the target was too high. They lost by 58 runs after being dismissed for 137 in 18.1 overs.
