As the qualifier rounds is set to take place from 16th to 21st October, hence the players of West Indies and Scotland are gearing up for a face off at the qualifier matches in the T20 World Cup. The match has been scheduled on 17th of October, Monday (15:00 pm onwards) at the Bellerive Oval, Hobart. Both of them have been placed under Group ‘B’, with two other countries, Zimbabwe and Ireland.
Well, West Indies managed to win the T20 champions of the world, 2016. But, later on the performance of the team didn’t come up as expected, and hence last year’s tournament seemed to be a major setback for them. On the previous year, the team couldn’t make it towards the knockout stage of the tournament. But the team is expected to make a comeback with an incredible team this year.
Whereas, Scotland has managed to achieve three contests in the previous year’s tournament, as per reports. One of them was against Bangladesh, and the other two were against Papua New Guinea and Oman.
