BCCI secretary Jay Shah announced India’s squad for the T20 World Cup via an online press conference last night. The selection committee (5 senior members), Jay Shah, and Captain Virat Kohli joined online from Manchester.

The T20 World Cup is scheduled to begin from the UAE on 1the 7th of October. There will be a super 1noonground which will begin from October 23rd to the 8th of November. Post that, the knock-outs will begin from November 10th and the final will be held on 14th November.

UAE is set to host the tournament. The four venues decided are Muscat, Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi.

With the kind of talent that the young members of team India have, it would have been very difficult for the selection committee to choose a 15- member squad.

TEAM – Virat Kohli (Capt), Rohit Sharma (VC, KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant (wk), Ishan Kishan (wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Rahul Chahar, Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel, Varun Chakravarthy, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohd Shami.
