IPL 2021: Glenn Maxwell joins the RCB camp ahead of the tournament

Glenn Maxwell has just joined the RCB squad for the remainder of the IPL

The Royal Challengers Bangalore have been doing really well in the Indian Premier League of 2021. Now that the team is busy preparing for the remainder of the tournament, Glenn Maxwell joins the squad.

The RCB team Instagram account shared pictures of the same. In the IPL tournament, Glenn Maxwell has played a crucial role in the middle-order for the Challengers. His contribution has been extremely valuable. As a result, the Royal Challengers Bangalore also had a wonderful first phase.

Now that Maxwell is here, he will firstly complete his 6-day mandatory quarantine period in the team hotel. Once done, he will be joining the team in their preparations for the second phase of the tournament. Meanwhile, on 6th September, Mr. 360 Ab De Villiers had joined the camp too.

The Virat Kohli-led side are currently in third place in the points table. They looked in splendid form as they lost just two games from their seven fixtures in the first half of the tournament. After a few overseas players made themselves unavailable, RCB has also roped in Sri Lankan players as replacements. Best of luck to the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the remainder of the Indian Premier League! Go well team.
