The Taipei Open has been one of the most prestigious events in the BWF Calendar since its inception in 1980. It’s one of Asia’s most important badminton tournaments and a key Super 300 event.
It was held at the Taipei Arena from 6 May to 11 May 2025 and attracted top athletes from around the world. The tournament featured a massive prize pool of $240,000. The event ended with a bang, and here are the Taipei Open 2025 results.

Taipei Open 2025 Results In Men’s Singles

Singapore’s Loh Kean Yew, the world champion of 2021, clinched his first title in the 2025 season in a thrilling final against local favourite Chou Tien-Chen. Log edged out Chou in three sets of 21-14, 15-21, and 22-20 and showcased his resilience and manpower.

After taking the first game, he had a hard time in the second set, however, he was able to regain his momentum and eventually win the game in the third set. The win secured him his fourth BWF World Tour crown, cementing his legacy.

Taipei Open 2025 Results In Women’s Singles

Japan’s Tomoka Miyazaki claimed the women’s singles title being the first seed. She fought in a tough battle against Thailand’s Pitchamob Opatniputh. She started strong in the first set and won it by 21-12, however, Opatniputh claimed the second set with 22-20. In the decider game, she closed out the match with 21-14 and won with a decisive score. This win marks a significant milestone in her career.

Taipei Open 2025 Results in Doubles Events

In the men’s doubles, Wang Chi-lin and Chiu Hsiang triumphed over Korea’s Kang Min-hyuk and Ki Dong-ju and won the match with a decisive score of 21-18 and 21-15. This marks their first victory as a pair.

In the women’s singles, the Taiwanese duo of Hsieh Pei Shan and Hung En-Tzu took the title and beat Japan’s Mizuki Otake and Miyu Takahashi.

In the mixed doubles event, Hidayatullah and Pasaribu defeated Ramadhanti and Ferdinasyah to claim the mixed doubles title.

How Much Did Winners Take At The Taipei Open 2025

Loh Kean Yew and Tomoka Miyazaki earned $18,000 as singles champions, while the winning pair in doubles took home $18,960.
