If you play Tekken 8, then a big news has come. The name of a new DLC character in the game has been finalized – Fahkumram. He is a returning fighter who had previously appeared in Tekken 7 as well. Now he is coming back in Season 2 of Tekken 8.
The company had teased this character some time ago, but now the official confirmation has come.
Who is Fahkumram?
Fahkumram is an original Thai fighter known for his powerful punches and kicks. His fighting style is fast, aggressive, and impactful. For those who have played Tekken 7, this name is not new.
He had appeared previously as a DLC character and will now return in Tekken 8 with an upgraded version.
This time, it is expected that his old moveset will return with some new twists so that it fits in the current meta of Tekken 8.
When will Fahkumram be released?
Now let’s talk about the most important question – what is the release date?
Fahkumram’s update is going to come in Summer 2025. The company has not given the exact date, but it is being estimated that this update will come between June to August.
It can also be a little late because the start of Season 2 was a bit messy. Earlier some patches had bugs, so now the developers are taking more time so that the final version is clean and balanced.
What can we expect?
- Updated Muay Thai moveset
- Powerful animations and visuals
- Competitive gameplay, suitable for ranked matches
- Maybe some new cosmetics or stages will also come along
It is also possible that with the Fahkumram update, other patches will also come which will improve the overall game balance.
