India’s gaming business needed a boom in order to grow, and mobile gaming provided it. This enormous majority of gamers and gaming aficionados in India can be directly attributed to companies like PUBG Mobile and BGMI. A legitimate Esports scene was also established in the nation as a result. Unfortunately, both of these games are currently forbidden, leaving players with few choices.

Even though the mobile gaming industry lost two high-profile titles, New State Mobile, Free Fire Max, and other titles continue to enjoy strong support from their fans. A well-known figure from the Indian Esports community is still uncertain about the future of mobile gaming, though.

Rushindra Sinha, CEO of Global Esports, recently asked players and followers on Twitter whether it was “worth hanging onto” a BGMI or New status Esports squad in light of the recent status of mobile gaming in the nation. He finished by saying that, in his opinion, it is not worthwhile.

In response to this tweet, a user accused Sinha of not wanting mobile games to gain popularity in India despite the industry’s enormous fan base. The person stated that Sinha appears to be supporting Valorant over mobile gaming because it is currently the most popular game in the nation.

According to Sinha’s response, his tweet does not suggest that Global Esports is leaving the mobile Esports industry, and his team will be more than happy to participate if BGMI returns. He did point out that titles like PUBG and BGMI have been prohibited for longer than they have been accessible.
