Is The Rock returning to WWE soon?
The Rock not showing up at WrestleMania 41 was a big shock and disappointment for WWE fans. He was very active in the story until Elimination Chamber, and many people believe that he planned John Cena’s surprise heel turn. Because of that, fans expected that The Rock would have a big role at WrestleMania.
But when WrestleMania started, The Final Boss was not seen anywhere. No teaser, no promo, no surprise entry. Nothing. Even WWE didn’t say much about him not being there. It felt like he was never part of the story.
Instead, we saw Travis Scott in the main event of WrestleMania. While that was a nice surprise, it was not what fans were hoping for.
Later, when John Cena won his 17th World Title and became the most successful world champion in WWE history, The Rock still didn’t show up. This was strange, because a few weeks earlier, he had done the famous “neck slash” sign toward Cody Rhodes, and it looked like he was planning something big. But at WrestleMania, he just didn’t appear.
Now, there is a little hope. Boston Connor from The Pat McAfee Show said that The Rock might come on Tuesday’s episode. WWE has not confirmed this, but the timing is interesting, especially after Gunther attacked Pat McAfee on RAW.
Could this start a new story in WWE? Will The Rock finally return to TV?
This week’s SmackDown will also be very important because both John Cena and Cody Rhodes are confirmed to appear. This will be their first time on TV after WrestleMania. If The Rock returns too, it could be a big moment.
Will Cena and Rock face each other? Will Cody get a chance to fight The Final Boss? Or is The Rock still controlling things from behind the scenes?
We may find out soon. But fans are hoping that The Great One doesn’t disappear again.
