The Premier  League never fails to amaze us when it comes to providing exciting games, nail-biting thrillers, last-minute equalizers, heroic goal-line cheats, etc. You name it Premier League has got it all. Last season also the Premier League was filled with exciting thrilling fixtures till the very last day. There was complete uncertainty as to who will finish in the top 4 spots for European Championship and who might get relegated.

The Premier League was only missing the fans and some key star players, whose performance would’ve been a rollercoaster if they would’ve played. Sidelined by injuries or even personal reasons, this season would be a season for redemption for some of the following stars.

VIRGIL VAN DIJK

The Liverpool solid center back has always been a solid pivotal figure in the Liverpool backline. He has always stood up as a rock with excellent defending and also leadership abilities. In his absence, Liverpool has suffered considerable damage leaking a lot of goals, and the lack of proper supervision also haunted them. This would be a season for redemption for Virgil Van Dijk as he steps back into Liverpool defense for some unfinished business, that was being left.

RAUL JIMENEZ

The Mexican-born, Wolverhampton Wanderers forward was being missed last season as he suffered a lethal head injury that proved very significant in hampering Wolf’s road to glory. Journalists and doctors believe that Jimenez is fortunate enough to be able to play football again. Since Jimenez has returned to the Premier League he is having a lot to prove.

DELE ALLI 

The Tottenham and English attacking midfielder are on their way to redemption this season. Many people have considered Dele Alli to be a flop last season and the critics from England want Dele to leave the club. The sensation who was once being loved by all the fans across the London town is now used to facing boos and whistles from the supporters. Alli who has shown signs of hard work and agility during the pre-season has won over the trust of the coach and looks to explore this season again.
