#1: The very first Indian player to receive an orange IPL cap was Sachin Tendulkar.

#2: Kings XI Throughout the IPL, only Punjab has seen its skipper change 11 times. Contrarily, the only team whose captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, hasn’t changed since the first game is Chennai Super Kings.

#3: Yuvraj Singh was the player who was most expensively acquired in 2015, selling for 16 crores, which was higher than the game’s winning price of 15 crores. 

#4: In the IPL’s history, Praveen Kumar currently holds the record for bowling the most dots. He is the league’s most reliable leg-spinner with 1,109 dot balls. He also has the most first-over bowls.

#5: In the IPL, Chris Gayle and K.L. Rahul each hold the record for the fastest 50 (in 14 balls) and 100 (in 30 balls), respectively.

#7: Chris Gayle holds the record for having the most innings in his name with 335.
