Harry Kane is likely to leave the Tottenham Hotspurs for Manchester City if it happens in the near future it has been said by the former Spurs player.
Although Harry Kane last time has told in the media that he loves Spurs and he may not look to leave but nothing can stay longer and anything can happen so he believes he will give his best till he can till the team can reach heights with his contribution.
When asked last time if he wanted to spend the rest of his career at Spurs, Kane said: “It’s one of those things; I couldn’t say yes, I couldn’t say no.
“I love Spurs – I’ll always love Spurs. But it’s one of those things – I’ve always said if I don’t feel we’re progressing as a team or going in the right direction, then I’m not someone to just stay there for the sake of it.
“I’m an ambitious player. I want to improve, I want to get better, I want to become one of the top, top players.
“It all depends on what happens as a team and how we progress as a team. So it’s not a definite I’m going to stay there forever, but it’s not a no either.”
It has been put out by the former midfielder of Spurs side that Kane could be saying bye to spurs only for Manchester City it is the improbable fact that he sees that can possibly happen if he leaves the city as the destination for the striker.
Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara revealed he thinks Harry Kane will leave the club this summer, with Manchester City his likely destination.
“I don’t think he’ll be at Spurs next season,” he said. “It’s devastating to say that as a Spurs fan. I’d love him to stay.
“I think if we win the Carabao Cup, it gives us an outside chance of keeping him, but I just can’t see him playing for Spurs next season with the teams that are going to be looking for No 9s.
“For me, there’s only one destination and that’s Manchester City. He’s still got Alan Shearer’s (Premier League goal-scoring) record in his sights – I believe he wants that and for Man City, he’d score bundles of goals.
“I know Man City are potentially looking at (Erling) Haaland or someone like that, but if you want a proven goalscorer in the Premier League that, in my opinion, will guarantee you titles for the next two or three seasons, you don’t look any further than Harry Kane.”
