UPW vs DCW WPL 2025 Live Score: UP Warriors set a target of 167 runs for Delhi Capitals, Kiran Navgire scores a fifty
The sixth match of the third edition of the Women’s Premier League is being played between UP Warriors and Delhi Capitals at Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. In this match, Delhi Capitals Women’s won the toss and invited UP Warriors Women’s to bat first. UP Warriors, who came to bat first after losing the toss, scored 166 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs, thanks to Kiran Navgire’s half-century innings.
UPW had a great start in this match. There was a 66-run partnership for the first wicket between Kiran Navgire and Dinesh Vrinda, which was broken by Sutherland. Harris was dismissed by Arundhati Reddy and she returned to the pavilion after scoring 12 runs.
For the sixth wicket, Chinelli Henry and Sehrawat shared a partnership of 44 runs in 25 balls. The 20-year-old Indian all-rounder played a strong innings of 37 runs. Apart from her, Henry scored 33 * and Sophie Ecclestone scored two runs.
For Delhi Capitals, Annabel Sutherland took two wickets while Marizanne Kapp, Jess Jonason, Arundhati Reddy and Minnu Mani took one wicket each.
This is the third match of the Meg Lanning led team in the current tournament, in which Delhi Capitals would like to return to the winning track. On the other hand, the team led by Deepti Sharma had to face defeat in its opening match itself. They were defeated in the match played against Gujarat Giants on Sunday.
