Gayle also played a historic innings of 175 runs against Pune Warriors on the same ground in IPL 2013, in which RCB scored the highest score of 263/5 at that time, which was surpassed by SRH in 2024. Now this score has come to the fifth place in the list of highest totals in IPL history.
