Vietnam Open 2024: All You Need To Know About The BWF World Tour

After the Taipei Open, the badminton fraternity is headed to Vietnam for the Vietnam Open 2024. The Vietnam Open is a BWF Tour Super 100 tournament that will be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from September 10 to September 15. 

Defending champion and the world number one in the tournament Nguyễn Thùy Linh will be a dominant force and pose a threat for other shuttlers.  A strong show at the Vietnam Open tournament will not only boost confidence but also add points in the ranking table, making it a great opportunity for shuttlers to prove their mettle.

Vietnam Open 2024: Prize pool

The total prize money is US$100,000 with the distribution of the prize money in accordance with BWF regulations.

In Singles events, the champions will receive prize money of $7,500 while runners-up will walk away with $3,800. Semi-finalists will be handed $1,450 while quarter-finalists will receive $600. Players finishing the last-16 round will get $350 as reward. 

In the doubles event, the champions will be rewarded $7,900, while the finalist will get $3,800. The semi-finalists will be handed $1,400 and quarter-finalists will get $725. The last-16 candidates will recieve $375.
