New Zealand: India’s Toughest Opponent in ICC Champions Trophy 2025

Virat Kohli came into the New Zealand match after scoring a century against Pakistan in India’s previous group game. His form, which had been inconsistent for a while, was back, and he proved again that he is at his best in the 50-over format. The century against Pakistan was his 51st career ODI hundred.

New Zealand, however, remains the toughest opponent India has faced so far in the tournament. Like India, New Zealand has also remained unbeaten in the Champions Trophy. They also won a tri-nation ODI series, which included Pakistan and South Africa, before the Champions Trophy started.
