T20 World Cup is few months away and the teams have already started looking for it. All the series they are playing is for this bigger thing. Former Indian cricketer Ravi Shastri praised Hardik Pandya and his leadership as well. But he feels last year because of injury he couldn’t bowl, and that costs us some games.

Indian fans love when Hardik Pandya bat but Ravi Shastri is a fan of Hardik Pandya’s bowling as well as he feels he has been improved since IPL 2022. Thus, Ravi Shastri feels his (Hardik Pandya) bowling will be equally important in the upcoming T20 World Cup. Harshal Patel’s comeback is still unclear and thus India need to have some bowlers who can restrict some runs in the middle.

“We missed him really badly last year in the (T20) World Cup when he couldn’t bowl. It makes a massive difference. He (Hardik Pandya) is one of the most important cogs in the wheel as far as India is concerned,” said Ravi Shastri as reported by India Today.

Indian team will be looking to win this cup after they were out of the tournament last year before even going into the knockouts.
