English Premier League side West Ham United are closing on a deal for Emerson Palmieri with Chelsea FC. West Ham are in the transfer market in search of so many players and Emerson Palmieri is one of them. West Ham has done some signings this summer as they also brought in a new striker Scamacca.
West Ham United are in talks with the Champions League side Chelsea FC to sign their left-back Emerson. Emerson is a young talented left-back who also plays for Italian national football team. He was also in the squad when Italy won the Euro 2020 last year.
“West Ham are finally closing on deal for Emerson Palmieri with Chelsea. Clubs prepared to seal agreement for £13m plus £2m* fee, permanent deal with Emerson discussing personal terms. There are some details to be clarified over the weekend before deal done,” tweeted Fabrizio Romano on Friday night.
Emerson would be a first-team player and David Moyes (West Ham manager) doesn’t want him to make him sit on the bench. They were looking for so many options but made Emerson Palmieri their priority in this summer transfer window.
