Manchester United has finally unveiled two of their new signings namely Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez in their new season’s (2022/23) jersey. United announced these signings a few days ago. Manchester United has only three signings this summer and all these signings had a direct connection with their new manager Erik ten Hag.
Erik ten Hag had a key role in all of these signings. Lisandro Martinez came from Ajax FC who used to play under Erik ten Hag before this season. Christian Eriksen did play for Ajax and Erik knows him very well. New left-back Tyrell Malacia has joined the club from Feyenoord FC. Manchester United has also revealed their new signings’ squad numbers on Thursday, 28th July. Tyrell Malacia is Man United’s new number 12 which was released before the club’s pre-season tour.
Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez’s new squad No.’s are 14 and 6 respectively which were revealed on Thursday. Earlier these numbers were with Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba who left the club this summer. Jesse has joined another Premier League club named Nottingham Forest. Paul Pogba has joined back his former side Juventus FC.
Manchester United have kept their No. 21 vacant as they hope to sign Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona before this summer transfer window ends.
