Indian cricket team were against West Indies in the second ODI at Queen’s Park Oval cricket ground on Sunday, 24th July. Indian team defeated the host (West Indies) in this game to clinch this 3-match ODI series. The second ODI was as thrilling as the first one as Indian again had a very close victory, thanks to Axar Patel who played a sensational knock in the end.

The Indian all-rounder gave an all-round performance in the game. He was amazing with the ball and then with the bat as well. This was Axar Patel’s one of the best innings in blue jersey. Axar Patel scored 64* runs in just 35 balls to make India victorious in this second ODI against West Indies. Axar hit 3 boundaries and 5 huge sixes in this innings.

After India lost some wickets at the crucial stage, fans were expecting this from Axar who hasn’t had a single half-century for India before this game. But, Axar Patel scored his maiden ODI half-century and was also named ‘Player of the match’ for his stunning performance. India won this game by just 2 wickets and could have lost if Axar wasn’t there at the crease till the end.
