The World Games 2025 will take place in Chengdu, China, from 7-17 August. Athletes from across the world will converge in the Chinese city for action-packed 10 days.
Over 4,000 athletes will feature across a wide range of sports and disciplines at the TWG 2025.
This will be the 12th edition of the World Games, which includes sports and sporting disciplines that are not contested in the Olympic Games.
This edition will be the third in Asia, and the first time for China to host the World Games.
The competition will feature a total of 256 medal events in 34 sports and 60 disciplines
The event will be conducted in 28 venues across 8 clusters. The venues are top-notch as many of them have previously hosted the 2023 World University Games.
Following this year’s event in Chengdu, The World Games will next be hosted in Karlsruhe, Germany, in 2029.
The host for 2033 is yet to be decided.
