For the first time ever WWE has launched the Women’s United States Championship. This new title was revealed by WWE General Manager Nick Aldis in a special message during the 11/08 show. Aldis made it clear that the title would not be given to anyone easily. It must be earned through hard work and determination.
Aldis stated, “The championship will not be awarded or handed out. It will be earned by the competitor willing to go above and beyond to seize the moment.” He encouraged the women of WWE to step up and take the opportunity to make history.

To find the first-ever WWE Women’s United States Champion, WWE has organized a tournament. WWE COO Triple H shared a list of all the competitors and the tournament brackets through a post on X (formerly Twitter). This tournament will decide who becomes the inaugural champion.

Tournament Progress So Far
The tournament is set to conclude on December 14, at Saturday Night’s Main Event, where the first WWE Women’s United States Champion will be crowned.
First Match (11/15 – SmackDown):
In the first match, Bayley faced Candice LeRae and B-Fab. Bayley emerged victorious in this triple-threat match, securing her place in the semi-finals. With this win, Bayley also tied WWE legend Natalya for the most wins by a female competitor in WWE history, with 684 wins.
Second Match:
The second match saw Bianca Belair, Chelsea Green, and Blair Davenport compete against each other. Chelsea Green won this intense battle and advanced to the semi-finals.
Third Match (11/29 – SmackDown):

In the third match, Michin faced Lash Legend and Piper Niven. Michin secured her spot in the semi-finals by defeating both competitors. Lash Legend was a last-minute replacement for Jade Cargill, who had to step out of the tournament due to injury.
Final Match of Opening Round (12/06 – SmackDown):
The last match of the opening round will take place on the 12/06 episode of SmackDown. In this match, Naomi, Tiffany Stratton, and Elektra Lopez will battle it out to secure the final spot in the semi-finals.
