At the age of sixteen years and forty-three days, Nazmul Hussain made his Champions Trophy debut. He played his first match against South Africa at Birmingham on 12 September 2004. At the age of 19,97 days, Mehraab Hussain Junior qualified for the Champions Trophy for the first time. He played his first match against Zimbabwe in Jaipur on 13 October 2006.
