On Tuesday’s match between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the Delhi Capitals, a match that will confirm the top spot for the winner on the IPL 2021 points table.
RCB is looking to get back to their winning form after losing to Chennai in their last match, on the other hand, Delhi looks to confirm their spot on top of the points table.
Delhi Capitals won the toss and chose to bowl first.
RCB came to the crease with their usual openers Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal, but things didn’t go well for RCB as Kohli and Padikkal were sent back the pavilion quickly by Delhi bowlers with effective bowling attack.
RCB’s middle order also failed to deliver as Washington Sundar yet again disappointed with his poor performance, on the other hand, Glenn Maxwell also went back to the pavilion without scoring much for the team.
RCB’s revival stated with Patidar and De Villiers partnership that helped the team reach 100 runs, but soon Patidar was also sent to the stands, De Villiers played an extremely mature and responsible innings making sure he settles down on the pitch as he scores the essential runs for the team, he soon completed his half-century as he slowly started going big with the bat, providing much-needed runs for the team at the time of crisis and proving once again to be a savior of RCB.
AB De Villiers is currently batting at 75 runs for 42 balls coupled with 3 boundaries and 5 massive sixes as he continues to torture Delhi bowlers.
