World No. 1 Jannik Sinner added yet another trophy to his 2024 haul defeating Taylor Fritz 6-4,6-4 in the finals of the ATP Finals in Turin, Italy. He became the first Italian to achieve the feat in the history of tennis.

Sinner remained undefeated in the event that starts with a round-robin to determine the semifinalists. He won five straight matches in the tournament without dropping a single set- the first time this has happened since 1986.

His dominance meant a maximum payout of $4.88 million for Jannik Sinner, the highest ever for an ATP tournament. For context, Sinner earned $3.6 million for 2024 U.S. Open title, also over Fritz.

A record $15,250,000 prize pool was announced for the 2024 ATP Finals for the best eight singles and doubles players in Turin.  Sinner’s pay check of $4,881,500 is the highest-ever payout at the year-end championships, beating Novak Djokovic’s prize money total of $4,740,300 from winning the 2022 edition.
