IPL 2025: Gujarat Titans (GT) fast bowler Prasidh Krishna almost ran out Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar at the non-striker’s end during the 14th match of the IPL 2025.
IPL 2025: Prasidh Krishna’s Fiery Final Over
Prasidh Krishna showed great aggression as he gave a bold ‘bye-bye’ send-off to RCB’s hard-hitting batsman Tim David at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Captain Shubman Gill trusted Krishna to bowl the final over, with Tim David on strike. He started well, delivering a dot ball and conceding just two runs in the first two deliveries. However, David then went on the attack, smashing Krishna for a four, six, and another four in the next three balls.
GT captain Shubman Gill then had a quick chat with Prasidh Krishna. After the discussion, Krishna ran in to bowl the final delivery but suddenly stopped at the last moment, seemingly threatening to run out Bhuvneshwar Kumar at the non-striker’s end and playing some mind games.
After resetting, Prasidh Krishna delivered a perfect yorker that crashed into Tim David’s stumps. David was late on his shot and had to watch as his wickets were shattered on the last ball of the innings.
The fast bowler was thrilled after taking Tim David’s wicket and gave him a bold ‘bye-bye’ send-off as David walked back to the pavilion. David scored 32 runs off 18 balls, hitting 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Varun Aaron on RCB’s Winning Formula
RCB had a strong start to their IPL 2025 campaign, winning their away matches against Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings with big margins.
In a chat with ESPNcricinfo, former India fast bowler Varun Aaron was asked about RCB’s success this season. He said the team has a lot of self-belief and a strong bowling attack, which has been key to their performance. He said:
“I think it’s their style of play they’ve bought into after the flourish they had towards the end of last season. I think that flourish really made them believe that they can do things which they didn’t at the start of the season. And also, RCB genuinely start off slow in the season just like Mumbai Indians.”
“And that puts a lot of pressure on you towards the back end especially when there are 10 teams. And at the end of the day, RCB are really, really looking good especially with their bowling attack because I feel this bowling attack really suits Chinnaswamy Stadium because all bowlers love to hit the stumps with the new ball.”
