The Board Cricket Control of India has announced India’s Squad for the upcoming assignments to England and Ireland. BCCI decided to make Shreyas Iyer India’s new T20I captain. Also a big news for the 15 years old young Vaibhav Sooryvanshi who made up their maiden call for India in T20 Internationals. The BCCI announced India’s Squad for Asian games as well. On Saturday the Chairman Devajit Saikia announced the squad in presence of BCCI chief secretary Ajit Agarkar. This is the second time India’s T20I captain was replaced by BCCI within the year by BCCI. Earlier Rohit Sharma succeeded by Shubman Gill now, Shreyas Iyer replaced Suryakumar Yadav who helped India to lift their Third T20 World Cup, also his not even in the Men’s team Squad.

Shreyas Iyer captaincy era begins with the Vaibhav Sooryavanshi T20I career for India. Iyer replaced Suryakumar Yadav from the captaincy. Iyer has been in incredible form for the last couple years. In IPL he captained his franchise Punjab Kings so well. Last year he took his team into the finals where he lost against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi gets maiden call up for India

Vaibhav Sooryanshi became the youngest ever player to debut for India. Sooryavanshi has been an absolute carnage in the Indian Premier League. The 15 year old teenager has shown his potential to world Cricket. He was the top scorer of the season, also won an orange cap while scoring 776 runs. He created a huge record in his second season of hitting most sixes ever in IPL history which is 65. This shows the kind of strength this kids hold the power of hitting balls.
