Diego Simeone will have to make sure his 34-year-old forward Suarez is supported adequately. Llorente who nominally partners Suarez will be playing alongside him as Simeone trusts his gameplay and Suarez would be looking to grab his 20th goal of the season against his former club who is close to his heart.

“It will be a little bit awkward for him and our players because he played here for a long time but we’re professional and everyone will try to do the best for their team. I don’t think we need to focus too much on this. We need to concentrate on him but also the rest of the team.”
