IPL 2025: Gujarat Titans (GT) wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler made a stunning run out to dismiss Mumbai Indians (MI) all-rounder Corbin Bosch in the 56th match of IPL 2025.
Jos Buttler’s Brilliant Run Out Channels MS Dhoni
The run out was exceptional, and it seemed like Buttler was channeling his inner MS Dhoni at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday, May 6.
Corbin Bosch came in to bat at No. 8 after Mumbai Indians‘ top and middle-order batters struggled in their match against Gujarat Titans. The South African all-rounder played a crucial role with the bat, helping his team reach a competitive total of 155/8.
Bosch scored 27 runs off 22 balls, hitting one four and two impressive sixes, before being dismissed in the 20th over.
On the fourth ball of the 20th over, Prasidh Krishna bowled a full delivery to Bosch just outside the off-stump. Bosch played it towards deep mid-wicket and decided to attempt a second run. He stretched every muscle in his body to dive and make it to the crease, but Jos Buttler was quick to stop him.
Buttler expertly collected a wide throw and flicked it onto the stumps, catching Bosch just short of the crease.

Gujarat Titans Maintain Momentum in IPL 2025
After helping Gujarat Titans restrict Mumbai Indians to 155/8, star spinner Rashid Khan spoke to the broadcasters, sharing that he’s gradually getting back to his best form and is currently at 70-75%. He said:
“Yeah, it feels like I am slowly getting there. You can say 70-75% at this stage. I am becoming more effective now. I have missed my length quite a number of times and that’s why I have conceded so many runs. I wanted to bowl at the right areas today and that’s what I had in my mind.”
Rashid also mentioned that he struggled to bowl with full rhythm during his rehabilitation for 3-4 months, which was the hardest part for him. He added:
“The hardest part for me was during the rehab. I was unable to bowl in full rhythm for 3-4 months. In that period of time, you just get used to it in terms of follow-through and landing. It’s taking time for me but I am getting there.”
Rashid Khan also spoke about the pitch at Wankhede Stadium, which had something to offer to the spinners. He said:
“Yeah, I feel there is something for the spinners. The ball is gripping a bit and I feel, the way Sai mixed up his pace was brilliant. He got us back in the game. I feel this wicket is helpful for the spinners. You need to bowl at the right areas. We just need to play good cricket and making sure that whoever goes out there, takes the responsibility and finishes off the game for us.”
