Ryan Burl who has played as many as 3 tests, 18 ODIs, and 25 T20is for Zimbabwe on Sunday came into highlights after a tweet. He tweeted a photo of his worn-out shoes and asked if they could get any sponsor so that they may not have to glue their shoes back after every series. Following this Puma took an initiative.

Puma, a Sports gear brand game forward with a sponsorship deal after that tweet. The brand indicated that they were ready to sponsor the kits for Zimbabwe’s cricket team.

Ryan Burl in the previous tweet quoted thatAny chance we can get a sponsor so we don’t have to glue our shoes back after every series @newbalance @NewBalance_SA @NBCricket @ICAssociation .”

Retweeting his tweet Puma cricket quotedTime to put the glue away, I got you covered  @ryanburl3.” Later Ryan Burl confirming the sponsorship deal thanked the Twitter community for the support.

He wrote “I am so proud to announce that I’ll be joining the  @pumacricket team. This is all due to the help and support from the fans over the last 24 hours. I couldn’t be more grateful to you all. Thanks so much, @PUMA .”
