Carlos Alcaraz Tops Jannik Sinner With $15M+ Earnings

The 2025 ATP season has entered its Asian swing marking the final stages ahead of the ATP Finals at the end of the year. Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are the two standout players who have ruled the men’s tennis. While they not just dominated the on-court performances, they are also the leading men in the prize money takers.

Carlos Alcaraz Tops The Prize Money Chart

Alcaraz has been dominant with two grand slam titles in the 2025 season. He has accumulated over $15 million  to lead the ATP prize money list.

The Spaniard has lifted two Grand Slam trophies- at Roland Garros and the US Open– and finished runner-up at Wimbledon, where he lost a classic to Jannik Sinner.

But Alcaraz’s dominance hasn’t been limited to the majors. He also secured  three Masters 1000 titles and added two ATP 500 trophies, displaying his consistency throughout the season. His success has given him a commanding lead in the money race, underlining just how complete his 2025 campaign has been.

Sinner Close Behind with Career-Best Season

In second place with $11.5 million, Jannik Sinner is enjoying a historic season of his own. The Italian star began 2025 with a bang, capturing his first Grand Slam title at the Australian Open, and followed it up with a majestic run to the Wimbledon crown.

However, the prize money gap reflects the Spaniard’s edge in Masters and ATP 500 tournaments.

Djokovic: Quality Over Quantity

Novak Djokovic sits third with $4.66 million, a far cry from the top two. This is because the Serb had skipped most of the Masters and ATP 500 tournaments in the season only to focus on the grand slams. Notably, the 38-year-old reached the semi-finals of all the grand slams this year.

Djokovic may not be lifting trophies this year, but his deep Slam runs continue to yield high dividends. In terms of efficiency—dollars per tournament—he remains unmatched.

Zverev, Fritz, and Shelton Round Out the Top Six

Just behind Djokovic is Alexander Zverev, with $4.42 million earned from 17 events. Taylor Fritz has accumulated at $4.3 million, through a quarterfinal finish at the US Open and semi-final appearance at Wimbledon.

Meanwhile, Ben Shelton became the sixth player to breach the $4 million mark this season. The young American was forced to retire during the third round of the US Open due to injury, but his strong first half of the season ensures his name stays among the elite.
