The BCCI has officially announced India’s Squad For Australia Tour. This announcement holds many surprises and many players will have their very first call-up. The white-ball series in Australia will take place from February 15th to March 1st. Following this, there is a single Test match in Perth from March 6th to 9th.

Major Comebacks in the T20I Squad
Batter Bharti Fulmali has been recalled to the T20I squad after a long gap of nearly five years. Along with her returns off-spinner Shreyanka Patil, adding much depth to the bowling cadre of India going into the challenging Australian conditions.
Young Talents Earn Maiden ODI Call-Ups
Seventeen-year-old wicket-keeper G Kamalini and left-arm spinner Vaishnavi Sharma, who played in the T20 series against Sri Lanka in December, have made their first ODI appearance. This indicates that the Indian cricket board wants to give young players more priority.
Notable Omissions and Changes
Pacer Arundhati Reddy and left-arm spinner Radha Yadav have been omitted from the ODI contingent. The latter had also recently lost her place in the T20I set-up. Meanwhile, Harleen Deol has not been included in the T20I squad, but has retained her spot in the ODI format.
