Call of Duty Mobile (COD) is preparing to launch its next major update. The developers have officially confirmed that Season 3, titled “Paranoia,” will arrive on March 18, 2026. This update will introduce several new features, including weapons, gameplay changes, and a fresh battle pass.

After the action-packed Lunar Charge season, the upcoming update will bring a different theme. Season 3 focuses more on tension, strategy, and awareness during combat. Players will need to stay alert because the new mechanics are designed to create a more intense battlefield experience.

Both Multiplayer and Battle Royale fans can expect multiple changes when the update goes live.

COD Mobile Season 3 Release Date and Global Timing

The update will launch at the same time worldwide. Depending on your region, the release time will vary slightly.

  • Pacific Time: March 18 at 5:00 PM
  • Eastern Time: March 18 at 8:00 PM
  • Greenwich Mean Time: March 19 at 1:00 AM
  • India Standard Time: March 19 at 6:30 AM

Once the update goes live, players will be able to download the new season content directly from the game.

New Weapons and Equipment in Season 3

Every COD Mobile season usually introduces new tools to keep gameplay fresh. Season 3 Paranoia will continue that trend.

Leaks and test server information suggest that a new MX-series shotgun will be added to the game. This weapon is expected to perform well in close-range fights, especially in tight indoor areas.

There are also rumors about a new melee weapon arriving in the update. Melee weapons are popular among aggressive players who prefer fast and silent eliminations.

Another major addition is the Paranoia perk. This ability warns players when an enemy is looking at them from outside their visible screen area. A visual alert will appear to help players react quickly.

This perk could become very useful for snipers and Battle Royale players who need strong awareness of their surroundings.

Multiplayer Changes and New Map Experience

Multiplayer mode will receive several updates as well. While the final map list has not been fully revealed yet, early reports suggest that a Black Ops inspired map variant could appear in the rotation.

The map is expected to feature narrow pathways, hidden corners, and multiple flanking routes. These design elements match the Paranoia theme, where enemies can appear unexpectedly from different angles.

Players will need to rely more on awareness, positioning, and teamwork to control the battlefield.

Battle Royale Mode Updates

Battle Royale will also receive several adjustments to match the new season’s theme.

One of the most interesting additions is a new Recon-focused BR class. This class is designed for gathering enemy information and improving team awareness.

Environmental changes are also expected on the Battle Royale map. Developers are reportedly adjusting lighting and atmosphere to create a darker and more suspenseful environment.

These changes aim to make survival gameplay more immersive and strategic.

Season 3 Battle Pass Rewards

As usual, the Season 3 Battle Pass will include both Free and Premium reward tiers.

Players can unlock new operator skins for characters such as Sliver, Ethan, and Sims. These cosmetics will match the tactical theme of the new season.

The battle pass will also feature Epic weapon blueprints, including designs for the M13, Dingo, and the new seasonal shotgun.

In addition, the Vault Battle Pass will return with older battle pass content from previous years. Popular collections like “Spurned & Burned” and “Vintage Vigilance” will be available again.

Player Progression and Level Rewards

Another update worth noting is the expanded progression system. Players can now continue their grind toward Level 400, unlocking new cosmetic rewards along the way.

One of the biggest highlights is the chance to earn exclusive Dark Matter camo rewards, which remain among the most sought-after cosmetics in the game.

For dedicated players, this gives a new long-term goal during the season.

Possible Collaboration Events

There are also rumors about collaboration events arriving later in the season. Some leaks suggest a possible crossover with Pop Team Epic, along with a potential Street Fighter themed event.

Although these collaborations have not been officially confirmed yet, COD Mobile has introduced several crossover events in the past, so the possibility remains strong.
