There was a buzz around the transfer market too, as many players and journalists present there had their eyes set on the market which would be providing them with a lot of news and rumours. Two of the most famous star-studded lineup PSG & Manchester City were forced to play in the same group. If rumors are said to be true Lionel Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo are said to go head to head.
The Groups of Death are said to be Group A & B having the likes of PSG, Manchester City, R.B Leipzig, Porto, A.C Milan, Liverpool, and also Atletico Madrid. There would be enough competition between these teams and the group of death would be a treat to watch for the fans.
After the commencement of the draws, there were the awards that had everyone on the edge of their seats. It is said to be a year to remember for Jorginho Frello as the Champions League winner, Euro Cup winner bagged the U.E.F.A best player of the year award too. His skill set and dynamic composure have helped his team gain enough glory and silverware. Jorginho’s fellow Chelsea teammates Kante & Mendy also won the best midfielder and best goalkeeper award. The best European club of the year went to Chelsea and the best coach was being won by Thomas Tuchel.
