At present, the Delhi Capitals are on top of the points table. Having won six of eight games in the first half of the Indian Premier League. The team looks to keep the momentum going for phase 2 that will begin on 19th September.

At present, the team has already begun their preparations for the game. They have already reached UAE and the practice sessions are going on.

On Friday, Gabbar- Shikhar Dhawan and Avesh Khan too joined the team. They will begin preparations post the mandatory quarantine period of 6 days.

Amidst all the preparation, team assistant coach Ajay Ratra believes the squad has sufficient time to get back into the rhythm for the second half of the tournament.

He also mentions “It’s a different season altogether, generally it happens in full flow, and we had good momentum in the first half. Now that it’s happening after a break, so we will have to start afresh, and that’s why our franchise has organized this camp a little early,” in a statement released by the team.

Some of the teammates are busy with international cricket commitments. That will only help the team to do better and the momentum going!

At present, the team is also spending time training the domestic players. The rest are also keeping in touch through zoom calls.

Hoping that the Delhi Capitals can be on top of their game for the remainder of the IPL tournament.
