Arsenal faces Norwich

Arsenal play Norwich City in their fourth match of the premier league following a disaster of a start to the campaign. They had their worst ever start to a premier league season in years after they lost all of their first three games in the league.

The North London club suffered a 5-0 humiliation at the hands of the champions Manchester City before the international break. Granit Xhaka’s sending off did not help their cause. Although, they indeed missed some starting players in the lineup. The fixtures were also not kind to the once invincible team.

After a shocking opening day defeat against Brentford, Arsenal had some of the toughest fixtures in Chelsea and Manchester City consecutive weeks.

However, the gunners can breathe a little now as they have two winnable fixtures this weekend and the next. Arsenal plays Burnley next weekend. Thereafter, they face off their cross-town rivals Spurs who are currently at the top of the table.

Arsenal looks to bounce off from the nightmare start as they face Norwich on Saturday evening.

Xhaka and Elneny are not available

The club has announced that Granit Xhaka and Elneny ( Hamstring ) won’t be available this weekend. However, Gabriel, Nketiah, Ben White, and Party are all in contention to start the match. Late summer signing, Takehiro Tomiyasu could also be in the starting line-up barring a problem with his work visa.

The preferred center-back partnership of Ben White and Gabriel could start the match on Saturday. Meanwhile, Aaron Ramsdale is expected to start in goal as Leno just returned from his national team duties with Germany.

Norwich also has lost all their three games in the league but they have a goal to their name which Arsenal are yet to score in the league.

This is a must-win fixture for Arteta and his men as they look to turn their season around.

Kick-Off time: 7.30 PM (IST)

Broadcast: Star Select, Hotstar
