There are many cricketers who have been in the hot talks recently and Hardik Pandya Is not unlike them. There has been a lot of time since we saw Hardik Pandya bowl in red-ball cricket last and he was in conversations since then. He is all set to focus on his comeback in white ball cricket and so he decided to skip Ranji Trophy, leaving Kedar Devdhar as the skipper of the Baroda team on Monday.

Hardik has suffered from many back injuries which made him unavailable after the T20 World cup for the national side. The Baroda squad of 20 was announced by the skipper and there was no name of Hardik Pandya in the list. However, it is expected that the All-rounder will make a comeback in the Indian Premiere League and will be leading the Ahmedabad Franchise. BCCI President Saurav Ganguly is surprised as he expected to see Hardik play in the Ranji trophy. “Hardik suffered from many back and other small injuries and had taken rest. However, I expect to see him in the Ranji trophy and play some good cricket for his side”, Saurav further added.
