English forward Raheem Sterling can play for Chelsea FC next season as the club is currently negotiating with the champions of 2021/22 Manchester City for the player. Sterling won the Premier League trophy last season with Pep Guardiola but didn’t get enough game time which is why he wants to leave the club this summer.
Chelsea FC manager Thomas Tuchel is looking to sign a forward this summer and thus sees Sterling as a perfect number 9 for him for the next season. According to reports, there is not only one club behind the English forward (Raheem Sterling), there are so many including Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal FC. Chelsea’s forward Romelu Lukaku whom they signed last season is expected to leave the club this summer and thus the club are looking for a replacement for him.
Chelsea wasn’t happy with Romelu and he didn’t repeat his last to last season’s Inter Milan stats with the ‘Blues’ thus both the parties look to terminate the deal. Romelu is again linked with Inter Milan this summer. The Premier League side (Chelsea) wants Sterling because the player has a good experience playing in the English league.
