Liverpool FC becomes the 2022 Community Shield champions as they beat the Premier League defending champions Manchester City on Saturday by 3-1. The game was thriller as it always be but this time Jurgen Klopp won against Pep Guardiola.

Guardiola’s men were too slow at the start and wasn’t good on the ball. Liverpool FC were amazing since the start as they kept on dominating the ball and kept creating chances. Liverpool’s star right-back Trent-Alexander Arnold broke the deadlock by scoring a wonder in the 21st minute of the game.

Liverpool FC leading at the half-time despite some attack from City in the end of the first 45 minutes. Manchester City started attacking in the second half but wasn’t find the goal until their new signing Julian Alvarez came on from the bench and scored the equaliser in the 70th minute. Later, City’s defender Ruben Dias’ hand-ball gave away penalty to the Reds and Mohamed Salah made no mistake in putting the ball back of the net. Liverpool sealed the victory when they scored the third goal in the stoppage time. It was new signing Darwin Nunez who scored from his header in the last mintues to make it 3-1 for Liverpool.
