Indian cricket team is playing the first ODI against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club. KL Rahul is happy to make his debut as leader of Indian team in this series. He will be captaining his first game as Indian captain on Thursday, 18th August. KL Rahul also opened up about playing in Zimbabwe ahead of the first game. KL Rahul made his debut in the ground where they will play the first ODI (Harare Sports Club, Harare).
KL Rahul was tested negative for COVID-19 and was also declared match fit before he was named in the Indian squad for this series. BCCI not only decided to add up his (KL Rahul) name in the squad but also to make him captain for this series against Zimbabwe.
“My ODI and T20I debut was in Harare, I got a 100 in my first game, so I have great memories here. Hopefully can add on to those memories,” said KL Rahul ahead of the first ODI against Zimbabwe.
The first ODI will be Starting at 12:45 PM on Thursday, 18th August. It will be interesting to see who all will be in the playing XI of India.
