Punjab Kings F.K.A. Kings Xi Punjab, splashed money this time around at the auctions and purchased some important prospects, just before next year’s MEGA-Auction.
The purchase has a good mix of both Indian and Foreign nationals with properly scouted and targetted uncapped Indian players. One such player happens to be Shahrukh Khan… Ahh, Not Bollywood’s ‘KING KHAN’, but a youngster with the same name, who is showing great potential to reach heights unknown.
Earlier today, Punjab Kings Twitter account posted a video in which Shahrukh was seen displaying his power touch in the nets.

Anil Kumble, Head Coach and the Director of Cricket Operations at Punjab Kings had some good things to say about Khan and even compared him with Kieron Pollard, for his power-hitting.

After stiff competition at the auction, Punjab Kings got Shahrukh’s acquisition for an amount of 5.25Cr, for his impressive showing in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
