Well, the excitement around IPL 2021 has taken over again among cricket lovers. Telugu star Venkatesh Daggubati, who is a die-hard Sunrisers Hyderabad supporter took to Twitter and shared his excitement for their first IPL 2021 match.
IPL 2021 kick-started recently and the third match of the new season will see Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders at faceoff in Chennai on Sunday. Both the teams will look to kick off their campaign on a winning note. KKR will be led by one of the best in business in the white-ball format, Eoin Morgan, who took charge of an ordinary-looking KKR under Dinesh Karthik midway into the last season held in the UAE. For SRH, it will be David Warner steering the ship. The clash took place today, April 11 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Both the teams will look to kick off their campaign on a winning note. Well, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the celebrities and millions of people across are missing being at the Stadium and enjoying the live matches. Venkatesh Daggubati always enjoyed being at the stadium and clearly, he has been missing it for the last 2 years but his enthusiasm and support is no less.

During IPL 2020 in the UAE, KKR beat SRH by seven wickets with two overs to spare. Manish Pandey’s 38-ball 51 wasn’t enough as Shubman Gill’s unbeaten 70 guided KKR home in the chase of 143. In the reverse fixture, KKR and SRH played out a super over after both teams were tied at 163. Lockie Ferguson followed up his figures of 3/15 in the main game by restricting SRH to just two in the super over, dismissing both David Warner and Abdul Samad. KKR’s Eoin Morgan and Dinesh Karthik then sealed the win.
Kolkata Knight Riders have faced off against Sunrisers Hyderabad 19 times since 2013, holding a 12-7 win-loss advantage.
On the work front, Venkatesh Daggubati will be seen in Narappa, a Telugu remake of the Tamil film Asuran.
He also has two other Telugu films- F3 and Telugu remake of Malayalam flick Drishyam 2. Venkatesh Daggubati has also started shooting for F3, which is one of the highly-anticipated movies being directed by Anil Ravipudi.
