Paulo Dybala is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward for Juventus (an Italian club). He received his Italian citizenship in 2012. Paulo Exequiel Dybala, born 15 November 1993, is an Argentine footballer who plays forward for Serie A club Roma and the Argentina national team. Dybala, who is affectionately named “La Joya” (“The Jewel”), began his professional club career in 2011 with Instituto de Córdoba before signing for Palermo at the age of 18 in 2012, whereupon he earned a Serie B title. 

He made his debut appearance for Argentina in 2015 and also took part in the 2018 FIFA World Cup. He became part of the win of the FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) World Cup with Argentina in 2022, which was for the third time Argentina has won the tournament, following successes in 1978 and 1986. Dybala joined Juventus in 2015 and has since gained five league titles and four Coppa Italia. He has also been nominated for Serie A’s Most Valuable Player once, as well as four times to the league’s Team of the Year. He is Juventus’ ninth-highest all-time goal scorer.
