Rajasthan Royals fast bowler Chetan Sakariya made his debut match in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Monday, 13th March, along with the match against Punjab Kings. In his first match, Sakariya has been very impressed with his bowling and fielding. Sakariya took 31 runs in his four overs and took three wickets. Apart from this, he caught such a great catch by Nicholas Pooran, which is difficult to believe in the eyes. The journey to reach here has been very difficult for Sakariya. After the Rajasthan Royals lost by four runs, former India team cricketer Virender Sehwag wrote a tweet for them, which will also make you emotional.

Sharing an interview with Sakariya’s mother, Sehwag wrote, ‘Chetan Sakariya’s brother died a few months ago from Suicide. His parents did not tell him this for 10 days as he was playing in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. What does cricket mean to these young cricketers and their parents? The IPL truly fulfills Indian dreams and some of the stories are absolutely extraordinary. Chetan’s mother told in an interview that after which struggles, her son has reached this point.

This year, Rajasthan Royals bought Sakaria for Rs 1.20 crore. Chetan’s father was a lorry driver, after having three accidents, he is now fully bedridden and unable to earn. Chetan’s mother said that Chetan used to work at a stationery shop to help the family financially. When Sakaria came to know that her brother had died of suicide, she did not talk to anyone for a week and did not eat anything.
