The Bangladesh Premier League began on January 6 with seven clubs competing against one another in a double round-robin format, with the top four teams going into the qualifying rounds before the final match on February 16th, 2023. In this context, Warner Bros. Discovery announced that it had purchased the broadcast rights to the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) for this ongoing season. However, in various territories, multiple channels were given live-streaming rights before this popular league began. As per reports, the RTA Sports channel is said to have live-streaming rights in Afghanistan. For Bangladesh, it is Nagorik TV and Daraz. SportsMax is considered the channel for the Caribbean. In India, channels like Shemaroo TV, Shemaroo Umang, and Shemaroo Marathi Bana, FanCode are given the authority.
In territories like the United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Qatar, channel Cineblitz will broadcast the league. However, in Pakistan, Geo Super HD, PTV National HD, PTV Sports HD, PTV Flix (OTT), and Tapmad (OTT) are given live streaming rights. In the Maldives and Sri Lanka, Eurosport is said to have live-streaming rights.
