Three-time champions, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) finally have a win to their name in the fourteenth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL). Playing their second match of the season against Punjab Kings, CSK registered an impressive victory by six wickets as they managed to keep the upper hand in all three factors of the game.

The match began with MS Dhoni winning the toss and deciding to field first. The right arm pacer Deepak Chahar took a total of four wickets and produced an outstanding spell of his career today. He dismissed some of the best players with the likes of Mayank Agarwal, Deepak Hooda, Nicholas Pooran and Chris Gayle.

Meanwhile, the Punjab Kings set a target of 107 for CSK where chasing the target was never going to be difficult for Chennai Super Kings. Both the opening players Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis took their time to settle in the field, while Punjab bowlers tried their best to take over the game.

However, CSK lost their first wicket in the first over in the form of Ruturaj. Though they lost another three wickets, the MS Dhoni led CSK still managed to win the match with great numbers.
